Kalkaska COA provides a medical equipment loan closet with items like wheelchairs, walkers, and commodes, based on availability.

Medical Equipment Loan Closet

The Medical Equipment Loan Closet is available to all Kalkaska County residents. We have a variety of medical equipment, including wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches, bed rails, toilet seat risers, commodes, and more. Donations on these items in clean, usable condition are appreciated.

We have a limited amount of pull-ups, pads, and liners, depending on donations from outside sources. We do accept donations of incontinence supplies (open packaging is accepted). Our most requested items are women's and men's pull ups in XL, bed liners (aka chucks), and heavy use incontinence pads.
