In-Home Services

The Kalkaska Commission on Aging’s (KCOA) focus is on individuals who reside in Kalkaska County and are 60 years of age and older. KCOA is NOT a skilled nursing agency. Contacts for skilled nursing services are available from us. The KCOA operates on senior millage funds, grant funds, federal and state funding, and client donations.

The client and agency assessor will develop a Care Plan during the initial Intake and Needs Assessment. Providers visit your home to provide service according to your Care Plan.

In-Home Services is a cost share program with clients contributing between $3 and $20 per hour. Provider substitutions are offered as available.
